Respiratory Physiotherapy

Respiratory Physiotherapy is a cluster of techniques used to prevent, treat and/or stabilize respiratory dysfunctions. The objectives are:

  • Expectoration of secretions
  • Improvement of respiratory functions
  • Improve pulmonary gas exchanges

This treatment can be applied to adults, children and babies. In spite that it is a painless therapy, babies may feel uncomfortable and cry, but it’s totally safe and beneficial for them.

In general, patients are able to better eliminate secretions and feel the evolution after the first sessions.
