Manual Massage

Manual massage is a technique in physical therapy that is based in moving body tissues like the muscles, skin and tendons. This technique has always been studied and used in large scale in Physiotherapy with proven benefits for the health and wellness of patients.

Objectives

The objectives of massage therapy are, among others:

  • Muscle relaxation
  • Pain relief
  • Relaxation of contractures in body tissues (can also be applied to scars)
  • Improve blood circulation in the local treated
